Role : BI Engineer (2–4 Years of Experience)

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports using 

  Microsoft Fabric (Power BI, Data Factory, Data Lakehouse)

   or equivalent open-source BI frameworks. 
• Develop 

  ETL/ELT pipelines

   for ingesting and transforming data from multiple services. 
• Model data for 

  real-time and historical analysis

   across logistics, payments, and marketplace functions. 
• Implement 

  data governance, lineage, and quality checks

   to ensure reliability and compliance. 
• Leverage 

  Lakehouse architecture

   (Fabric OneLake or open-source equivalents like 

  Delta Lake / Apache Iceberg + Superset / Metabase

  ). 
• Build 

  self-service BI capabilities

   for operations and business users. 
• Collaborate with 

  backend and data engineers

   to optimize data warehousing (

  PostgreSQL + OpenSearch/Elasticsearch

  ) for BI workloads. 

Required Skills

• Strong BI expertise with 

  Power BI + Microsoft Fabric

   or open-source stack (

  Apache Superset, Metabase, Redash

  ). 
• Advanced 

  SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL)

   and 

  DAX/MDX

   skills. 
• Experience with 

  data lakes and warehouses

   (Azure Synapse, Fabric Lakehouse, or 

  Apache Iceberg / Delta Lake + Spark

  ). 
• Proficiency in 

  ETL/ELT pipeline tools

   such as 

  Fabric Data Factory, dbt, Apache Airflow, or Talend

  . 
• Familiarity with 

  real-time data pipelines

   using 

  Kafka, Debezium, or Flink

  . 
• Comfortable working with both 

  cloud BI platforms

   (Azure Fabric, Power BI) and 

  on-prem/open-source BI tools

   (Superset, Metabase). 



Good to Have

• Exposure to the 

  Microsoft Fabric ecosystem

   end-to-end (Data Factory, Synapse, Power BI). 
• Experience in 

  log and metric analytics

   using 

  OpenSearch + Grafana

  . 
• Hands-on experience with 

  Docker/Kubernetes

   for BI platform deployments.
