Role Overview

Azure DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• CI/CD Pipeline Management

• Design, implement, and maintain

  Azure DevOps pipelines

  for build, test, and deployment.
• Automate application deployments across multiple environments using

  Azure Pipelines

  .
• Integrate automated testing and security checks into CI/CD workflows.

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Develop and manage

  Terraform scripts

  for provisioning Azure resources.
• Maintain

  Terraform state files

  in secure remote storage (e.g., Azure Storage).
• Implement best practices for IaC, including version control and modularization.

• Azure Cloud Management

• Configure and manage Azure services (VMs, Networking, Storage, AKS, etc.).
• Set up and manage

  Service Principals

  and RBAC for secure deployments.

• Automation & Monitoring

• Implement automation for infrastructure scaling and disaster recovery.
• Monitor pipelines and infrastructure for performance and reliability.

• Collaboration

• Work closely with development and operations teams to streamline releases.
• Provide guidance and training on DevOps practices and tools.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with

  Azure DevOps Services

  (Boards, Repos, Pipelines).
• Proficiency in

  Terraform

  and

  HashiCorp Configuration Language (HCL)

  .
• Solid understanding of

  CI/CD concepts

  and tools.
• Knowledge of

  Azure services

  and

  cloud architecture

  .
• Familiarity with

  YAML

  for pipeline configuration.
• Experience with

  Git

  and version control best practices.
• Good understanding of

  security, compliance, and monitoring

  in cloud environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Certified:

  Azure DevOps Engineer Expert

  .
• Experience with

  Docker/Kubernetes

  .
• Knowledge of

  PowerShell

  or

  Python

  scripting for automation.
