Position: Azure Data Engineer Location: Gurugram, Haryana Experience: Minimum 3 years Employment Type: Full-time (Working from Office) Job Summary : We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer to join our client's team and collaborate with our Data Science group. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain data pipelines and integration solutions using Microsoft Azure services. Youll play a key part in transforming raw data into high-quality, structured information that drives our analytics and reporting initiatives. Role & responsibilities 1.Data Pipeline & Integration Design and implement scalable ETL processes using Azure services. Collaborate with the Data Science team to transform and structure raw data for advanced analytics. 2.Data Management & Optimization Develop and optimize data storage solutions on the Azure platform (e.g., Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake). Monitor data flows to ensure high performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. 3.Back-end Development & Support Build and maintain APIs and Microservices that integrate with our data platform. Utilize preferred programming languages (C# and Python) to enhance back-end systems. 4.Collaboration & Documentation Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data-driven solutions. Document technical designs, workflows, and best practices to support team knowledge sharing. Preferred candidate profile: 4-7 years of experience in data processing, backend development, or related fields. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure data services (e.g., Azure IoT Hub, Azure Data Explorer, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics). Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with relational database management. Strong programming skills in C# and Python. Understanding of ETL concepts and data integration best practices. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Knowledge of data security standards and regulatory compliance.
