Azure Data Engineer (Technical lead) JD Designation- Technical Leader Experience - 10-12 years Location - Chennai, Kochi and Bangalore Responsibilities: l Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes. l Implement and optimize data storage solutions in data warehouses and data lakes. l Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions. l Utilize Microsoft Azure tools for data integration, transformation, and analysis. l Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI and other analytics tools. l Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security across all data systems. l Optimize database and query performance to support data-driven decision-making. Qualifications: l 10-12 years of professional experience in data engineering or a related field. l Profound expertise in SQL, T-SQL, database design, and data warehousing principles. l Strong experience with Microsoft Azure tools, including SQL Azure, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Data Lake. l Proficiency in Python, PySpark, and PySQL for data processing and analytics tasks. l Experience with Power BI and other reporting and analytics tools. l Demonstrated knowledge of OLAP, data warehouse design concepts, and performance optimizations in database and query processing. l Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
