Job Description

Job Title: Azure Implementation Engineer As an Azure Implementation Engineer, you will be responsible for end-to-end implementation, deployment, and configuration of Microsoft Azure solutions for enterprise customers. You will work closely with solution architects, project managers, and customers to translate designs into fully functional and secure cloud environments. Your role will ensure successful delivery of Azure services aligned with best practices and compliance standards. Key Responsibilities Azure Deployment & Implementation Execute end-to-end deployment of Azure services including compute, networking, storage, identity, databases, and security solutions. Implement IaaS and PaaS workloads, including VM provisioning, networking, backup, DR, monitoring, and automation. Hands-on experience with Azure landing zones, subscriptions, RBAC, policies, and governance frameworks. Configure hybrid connectivity (VPN, ExpressRoute), Azure AD, and on-prem integration. Migration & Modernization Lead and execute workload migrations (on-prem to Azure), including SAP, legacy applications, and databases. Perform assessments, migration planning, execution, and post-migration validation. Support modernization initiatives using Azure App Services, Containers, and Kubernetes where applicable. Technical Execution & Documentation Own implementation deliverables including configuration guides, as-built documentation, runbooks, and handover materials. Troubleshoot and resolve deployment-related issues during and after implementation. Collaborate with Microsoft and third-party vendors for support and technical escalations. Security & Compliance Implement security best practices, including NSGs, ASGs, Azure Defender, Key Vault, and role-based access control. Ensure compliance with customer-specific regulatory and governance requirements. Collaboration & Handover Work closely with pre-sales and architecture teams to understand solution designs and convert them into technical deployments. Conduct knowledge transfer and handover sessions with customer teams and managed services providers. Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of experience in hands-on Azure implementation and infrastructure delivery. Strong experience with ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform for infrastructure-as-code. Experience with tools like Azure Migrate, ASR, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Defender for Cloud. Experience in implementing SAP on Azure and database migration (SQL, Oracle, etc.). Solid understanding of Azure networking, identity, and hybrid integration. Azure certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Azure Infrastructure Expert. Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills. Preferred Skills Familiarity with scripting using PowerShell or Azure CLI. Exposure to DevOps pipelines and automation workflows. Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) is a plus.
