About the Role

Azure Cloud Architect

Key Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end

  Azure Cloud

  solutions across compute, networking, storage, identity, and security.
• Develop Azure landing zones, governance frameworks, and cloud operating models.
• Lead large-scale cloud migrations, modernization, and platform engineering initiatives.
• Design scalable and secure architectures using Azure IaaS and PaaS services (VMs, VNets, App Services, AKS, Storage, Key Vault, Monitor, Defender, etc.).
• Define and implement IaC using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Establish CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions for cloud deployments.
• Ensure compliance, security hardening, identity management, and policy enforcement (Azure AD, RBAC, NSGs, Policies).
• Optimize cost, performance, and cloud resource utilization.
• Work closely with engineering, DevOps, security, and networking teams to align cloud solutions with business needs.
• Provide technical leadership, architectural guidance, and mentoring to teams.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10–15 years

  in cloud, infrastructure, or architecture roles.

• 5+ years

  designing and implementing solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Strong expertise in Azure networking, identity, governance, monitoring, and security.
• Deep understanding of Azure IaaS/PaaS services and cloud-native architecture patterns.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Bicep, ARM, Azure DevOps, and automation frameworks.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (AKS, Docker).
• Strong ability to translate business needs into scalable architectural designs.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Certified:

  Azure Solutions Architect Expert

  (highly preferred).
• Experience with hybrid cloud setups and connectivity (ExpressRoute, VPN).
• Knowledge of Zero Trust, security frameworks, and cloud compliance.
• Familiarity with serverless architectures (Azure Functions, Logic Apps).
