Senior LLM & Azure AI Lead

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior LLM & Azure AI Lead who will take full ownership of designing, developing, and delivering AI/LLM solutions for global clients. This is a senior, hands-on role requiring deep expertise in Azure AI services, large language models, Python, and modern low-code/no-code AI tools. The ideal candidate is dependable, technically strong, proactive, and comfortable leading both engineering teams and client discussions. You will act as the primary technical authority for AI strategy, architecture, and successful solution delivery.

Key Responsibilities

AI & LLM Development

Lead the design, fine-tuning, and deployment of GPT-based and open-source LLMs.

Create and optimize prompts, improve model accuracy, and ensure output quality.

Build AI-powered applications including automations, chatbots, content generation tools, and RAG systems. Azure AI Solution Delivery Build, deploy, and maintain solutions using Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, and Azure ML.

Integrate LLMs into enterprise workflows and customer systems.

Ensure optimal performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness of AI workloads on Azure. Application Development

Develop AI applications using Python.

Build RAG, automation, and workflow solutions using LangChain, Flowise, and other low-code AI platforms.

Deliver end-to-end AI solutions from prototype to production.

Team Leadership & Client Management

Lead, mentor, and guide a small team of AI engineers.

Represent the technical team in client calls, requirement workshops, demos, and delivery discussions.

Own project timelines, quality, scope, and execution.

Light DevOps & Deployment

Work with Docker for packaging and containerization.

Deploy AI applications to Azure services (e.g., Azure Container Apps, AKS).

Collaborate with DevOps engineers for CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure tasks. Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience with LLMs, embeddings, and transformer architectures.

Deep expertise in the Azure AI ecosystem (Azure OpenAI, Azure ML, AI Foundry, Copilot Studio).

Solid Python programming skills for AI application development.

Experience with LangChain, Flowise, and low-code/no-code AI platforms.

Strong understanding of REST APIs and vector databases (e.g., Chroma, Pinecone, Azure Cognitive Search).

Leadership & Communication

Proven ability to lead engineering teams independently.

Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills.

Ownership mindset with the ability to make technical and architectural decisions confidently. Experience

6-10 years of total experience in AI/ML or software engineering.

Minimum 3+ years hands-on experience with LLMs and Generative AI. Strong practical experience with Azure AI services.

Exposure to deployment tools such as Docker, GitHub/GitLab CI/CD is a plus.

Mandatory experience interacting directly with clients.
