Job Description

Job Opportunity with one of the Big 4 consulting

Key Responsibilities:

Deploy, configure, and manage Azure IaaS/PaaS services, including virtual machines, storage accounts, networking, and databases.
Monitor system performance, availability, and usage to ensure optimal uptime.
Implement and manage identity and access management (IAM) via Azure Active Directory.
Ensure security best practices including role-based access control (RBAC), network security groups, and endpoint protection.
Perform backup, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
Automate routine tasks using PowerShell, ARM templates, or Azure CLI.
Work with DevOps and application teams to support CI/CD pipelines in Azure environments.
Maintain documentation related to systems and standard operating procedures.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience as a system administrator, preferably with Azure.
Hands-on experience with Azure Portal, ARM templates, and Azure CLI/PowerShell scripting.
Strong understanding of Azure networking, VNets, VPNs, ExpressRoute, NSGs, etc.
Familiarity with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
Knowledge of Windows and/or Linux server administration.
