Job Description

As an Axiom Configuration Specialist in the Finance Technology division at Morgan Stanley, you will be part of the Regulatory Disclosures team responsible for US and EMEA Reporting deliverables. Your role will involve collaborating closely with local/global project managers, colleagues, and internal clients within Finance throughout the development life cycle. **Role Overview:** In this role, you will perform business/data analysis to address various business issues and propose solutions in collaboration with clients and the team. Additionally, you will design, implement, test, and maintain Axiom North America Reporting solutions, ensuring performance and scalability optimization for large-scale deployments. Your responsibilities will also include defining new features in coordination with product management, as well as ensuring the quality and completeness of the final product through unit testing, documentation, and maintenance. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform business/data analysis to investigate various business problems and propose solutions - Design, implement, test, and maintain Axiom North America Reporting solutions - Optimize performance and scalability for large-scale deployments - Define new features in conjunction with product management - Ensure quality and completeness of the final product through unit testing, documentation, and maintenance **Qualifications Required:** - 1+ years of Axiom CV9/10 experience - 4 years of experience in Database development (SQL/Data Modelling/Stored Procedures) - 1+ years of ETL Programming/Data Engineering (e.g., Informatica) - Proficiency in job scheduler tools like Autosys and UNIX - At least 4+ years of relevant experience in the field **Preferred Skills:** - Understanding of U.S., EMEA Regulatory requirements (especially FinRep modules) - Familiarity with DevOps Tooling - Experience with Java/Scala/Python and Spark Framework - Exposure to BFSI and finance industry As an ideal candidate, you should demonstrate high interest in Finance business & data analysis, with a preference for an interest in Accounting. You should be eager to learn about financial products, regulatory requirements, and accounting while working closely with internal clients. Additionally, you should exhibit ownership, accountability, and a willingness to take on an expanded role over time. Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to multitask, work against deadlines, and collaborate effectively in a global team are essential for this role.
