Position: AWS DevOps Engineer Job Location: Chennai Job Mode: Work From Office Experience: 5-7 Years Job Description: Qualifications: Proficiency in CI/CD tools: Azure DevOps, GitLab, Jenkins etc. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Hands-on with scripting languages: Bash, Python, or PowerShell. Knowledge of source control systems (e.g., Git). Familiarity with container technologies: Docker and Kubernetes. Strong understanding of Linux/Unix and Windows systems. Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Experience with automation and orchestration tools. Proficiency in cloud monitoring tools: AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, etc. Familiarity with hybrid cloud and multi-cloud environments. Strong understanding of cloud cost optimization techniques. Security and compliance knowledge for cloud deployments. Expertise in monitoring and logging tools: New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack. Experience with incident management and postmortem analysis. Strong knowledge of distributed systems, networking, and databases. Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native technologies. Hands-on experience with load balancing, caching, and failover strategies. Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for application development and deployment. Develop automation scripts and tools to enhance infrastructure provisioning and management. Collaborate with developers and IT teams to optimize performance, security, and reliability. Monitor systems and troubleshoot issues across staging, testing, and production environments. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible. Manage container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes or Docker Swarm. Maintain and monitor logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions such as New Relic, CloudWatch, Splunk etc. Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS & Azure Manage and monitor cloud-based resources, including VMs, storage, databases, and networking. Optimize cloud resources for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency. Implement security measures such as IAM policies, firewalls, and data encryption. Automate cloud resource provisioning using IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation). Respond to incidents, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability of cloud environments. Perform cloud migrations and ensure a seamless transition for workloads. Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable, and efficient systems in production. Develop and implement monitoring, alerting, and automation to improve system health and uptime. Collaborate with software engineers to embed reliability and performance best practices into the application lifecycle. Analyse incident data to drive root cause resolution and prevent recurring issues. Manage SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs to ensure performance goals are met. Automate manual operations tasks and processes to improve efficiency. Participate in on-call rotations(BAU), off hours support(when required) and production emergencies to address production incidents and ensure quick recovery.
