Job Title: AWS Data Engineer Location: On-Site, India Role Responsibilities Design and implement data pipelines using AWS data services. Develop and maintain scalable ETL processes for data ingestion and transformation. Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements. Utilize AWS tools like Redshift, Glue, and Lambda for data management. Monitor and optimize data workflows for performance and reliability. Create and maintain data models and schema definitions. Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle. Develop documentation for data processes and architecture. Implement best practices for AWS security and compliance. Support periodic data audits and reporting activities. Work with client stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback. Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing. Stay updated with emerging AWS data technologies and practices. Assist in troubleshooting data-related issues and provide effective solutions. Contribute to the continuous improvement of data engineering processes. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role. Strong knowledge of AWS services related to data management and analytics. Proficient in SQL and database technologies. Experience with ETL tools and methodologies. Familiarity with Python or similar programming languages. Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and practices. Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark). Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work. Ability to adapt to new technologies and changing requirements. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
