AVP/ VP - Front Office Technical Support

Job Description

Location: Mumbai/ Pune Industry: Asset Management / Investment Management Must-Have Skills: Strong hands-on experience in supporting Aladdin or Charles River platforms. Deep understanding of trading life cycle and asset management operations . Proven expertise in incident management and ITIL-based support processes. Knowledge of front office workflows and trade order management systems. Experience in Asset Management Companies (AMCs) or buy-side environments is mandatory. Exposure to Bloomberg, MarketAxess, TradeWeb , or other market data/trading platforms. (Good to have) Familiarity with SQL, scripting (Python, Shell), and monitoring tools. (Good to have) Qualifications: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or related field. ITIL Foundation certification preferred. Relevant platform certifications (e.g., Aladdin or Charles River) are an added advantage. Key Responsibilities: Lead a global team of application support analysts, ensuring service delivery excellence. Provide L1/L2 support for Front Office Trading Applications such as Aladdin or Charles River . Manage and resolve incidents, service requests, and problem records as per ITIL framework. Monitor system performance and proactively identify and address issues. Collaborate closely with traders, portfolio managers, and technology teams for real-time issue resolution. Ensure stability, performance, and availability of front office applications. Conduct root cause analysis and drive permanent resolutions. Engage with senior stakeholders (front office and technology leadership). Drive strategic initiatives including platform upgrades, automation, and process improvements. Implement governance and reporting frameworks for service health and performance. Mentor and upskill team members in application support best practices and domain knowledge. Show more Show less
