Job title: AVEVA E3D Administrator Location: Chennai / Pune About the role: The Aveva E3D Administrator will manage and optimize the Aveva E3D system for the piping design team. The role involves system configuration, user support, troubleshooting, and ensuring the integrity of piping design data. Collaboration with engineering and IT teams is essential to meet project requirements. Responsibilities: Create Project database. Create/set up Piping & valve material specification Creating part catalogues, supports, library etc Should be expert in SPECON. Setting up the templates for isometrics, extraction of 2D layout Must be able to resolve technical issues arising during the 3D modelling of a project Co-ordinate with Aveva support team for major issues Able to create macros/programmes for extraction of BOMs, innovative solutions to avoid repetitive work. Administer and configure Aveva E3D for piping design (templates, catalogs, libraries). Maintain software integrity and troubleshoot issues. Provide training and ongoing support to users. Customize piping-related features and integrate with other systems. Ensure efficient data management and collaboration across teams. Candidate requirements: Candidate must possess Mechanical Engineer with certified course in AutoCAD and 3D modelling software admin works. At least 4 to 10 years working experience in plant engineering. Experience with Aveva E3D and piping design processes. Knowledge of piping design standards and catalog management. Ability to work in teams with all levels and possess excellent interpersonal, communication/presentation. Should have proficiency in AutoCAD, Aveva E3D.
