About The Opportunity

A leading HR & talent solutions provider serving enterprise technology clients across India. We deliver workforce augmentation, staffing, and consultancy services focused on building high-quality engineering teams for product and services companies.We are hiring an on-site Automation Test Engineer to join an established engineering team working on web-based enterprise applications. This role requires hands-on automation implementation, strong test design, and close collaboration with developers and product owners.Role & Responsibilities

Design, build and maintain reliable automation test suites for web applications using Selenium WebDriver and TestNG.
Develop and execute API test automation for RESTful services and validate end-to-end scenarios.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) and ensure stable, fast feedback for builds.
Analyze defects, create reproducible bug reports, and work with developers to triage and resolve issues.
Define and enforce test automation best practices: modular frameworks, data-driven tests, and reusable components.
Mentor junior QA engineers on automation approaches, code quality, and testability improvements.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

Proven hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver
Strong programming skills in Java
Experience with TestNG or JUnit test frameworks
Practical experience in REST API testing and automation
Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and version control with Git
On-site availability in India and ability to work closely with engineering teams

Preferred

Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber)
Knowledge of performance testing tools or basic experience with tools like JMeter
Exposure to containerized test environments and pipeline-as-code
