Responsibilities:

Test Planning and Strategy:

Develop comprehensive test plans and test strategies based on project requirements.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project goals and ensure effective test coverage.

Test Design and Execution:

Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases for automated testing.

Execute automated test cases to identify software defects and ensure product functionality to meet specifications.

Automation Testing:

Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.

Continuously explore and implement automation strategies to improve testing efficiency.

Defect Tracking and Reporting:

Identify, document, and track software defects through the testing life cycle.

Generate and communicate clear and concise defect reports to the development team.

Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure a shared understanding of testing objectives.

Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding testing progress, issues, and overall project status.

Regression Testing:

Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure the stability of existing functionality after code changes.

Continuous Improvement:

Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and testing methodologies.

Propose and implement improvements to the testing process to enhance overall software quality.

Mentoring and Training:

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the testing team.

Conduct training sessions to enhance the overall skill set of the testing team.

Qualifications:

Any degree.

3 to 5 years of proven experience in software testing, with a focus in automation testing.

Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.

Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
