Automation Test Engineer (Selenium + Java)

Job Description

Role & responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium with Java . Collaborate with development teams to understand application features and create effective test strategies. Identify, document, and track bugs through defect management tools. Ensure high-quality software releases by executing test cases and analyzing results. Work on improving automation frameworks and enhancing test coverage. Perform API automation testing (Nice to have). Generate detailed test reports and communicate findings effectively. Preferred candidate profile 4 to 9 years of experience in automation testing. Must-have: Strong hands-on experience with Selenium & Java for automation testing. Experience in creating, maintaining, and executing automation test scripts. Nice-to-have: Experience in API Automation testing. Knowledge of version control systems like Git, and Bitbucket . Experience with test management and defect-tracking tools like JIRA, and TestRail . Understanding of Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with frameworks like TestNG, Cucumber, and JUnit . Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman, and RestAssured .
