As an Automation Test Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test scripts, ensuring high-quality software products through rigorous testing. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Selenium WebDriver. Execute automated tests and analyze results to ensure the application meets the required quality standards. Identify, record, and track software defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira). Implement continuous integration (CI) pipelines for automated test execution and reporting. Skills and Qualifications Proficient in Python and experience with Python-based testing frameworks (e.g., pytest, unittest). Strong experience in test automation using Selenium WebDriver for web application testing. Familiarity with version control systems like Git. Experience with test automation tools like Jenkins for CI/CD integration. Experience in working with RESTful APIs and tools like Postman or Rest Assured. Knowledge of databases and writing queries in SQL to validate data. Ability to work with cloud-based testing platforms and automation tools. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and test-driven development (TDD). Familiarity with other testing frameworks such as Robot Framework or Cucumber. Optional: Experience in performance testing and tools like JMeter or LoadRunner. Exposure to containerization technologies like Docker for test environment setup. Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
