Role & responsibilities: Automation QA with (Rest Assured - API) Experience : 4+ years of hands-on experience in UI and API testing, with at least 2 years in an automated testing role. Proven expertise in UI automation frameworks like Selenium , Cypress , Playwright , or similar tools. Solid understanding of RESTful API testing with tools like Postman , Rest Assured , SoapUI , etc. Technical Skills : Strong experience with programming/scripting languages like Java , Python , JavaScript , or TypeScript . Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) and integrating tests into automated pipelines. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git). Knowledge of database querying (SQL/NoSQL) for verifying back-end data. Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Scrum/Kanban environments. Soft Skills : Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. Strong attention to detail with a passion for quality assurance. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate issues clearly.
