Automation Engineer (Test Engineer)

Role Overview: As an Automation Test Engineer, your main responsibility will be to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts to ensure the quality of software products. You will need to have strong analytical skills, experience with various test automation tools, and a keen eye for detail. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using different tools/frameworks. - Collaborate with developers, Manual Testers, and product managers to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage. - Execute automated test suites for applicable platforms including web, mobile, and API applications. - Identify, document, and track bugs using defect management tools. - Participate in test planning, estimation, and test case reviews. - Enhance testing efficiency by identifying and implementing improvements in test automation frameworks. - Work closely with the manual testing team to identify test scenarios for automation. - Write clear and concise bug reports, and track issues through resolution. - Ensure compliance with software testing standards, procedures, and methodologies. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or a related field. - 1-3 years of experience in automation testing. - Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for test script development. - Good understanding of HTML, CSS, DOM, and web debugging tools. - Strong knowledge of at least 1 testing framework. - Experience in API testing using Postman. - Hands-on experience with version control tools like Git. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
