Automation Engineer

Job Description

Position Summary: We are seeking an Automation Engineer responsible for the commissioning of medium and large-scale packaging lines (OEM). The role involves working with automation systems ranging from medium-level solutions (material handling and secondary packaging products) to high-level automation (robotic palletizers and pallet handling equipment), along with seamless third-party device integration. Key Responsibilities: Software Development: Designing, developing, and implementing automation software for PLC, HMI, VFD, Cobot, and Robot systems. Independent Execution: Leading integration, testing, and trials to ensure successful Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT). The automation line includes motor circuits (DOL, VFD, and servo), PLC, HMI, scanners, print & apply systems, online weighing systems, robotic palletizers, and cobot solutions. Project Validation & Coordination: Conducting Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) and coordinating project execution with customers to ensure smooth implementation. Post-Commissioning Support: Managing and resolving post-commissioning issues, ensuring optimal system performance and reliability. Candidate profile: B.E.– Electronics/Electrical- Min 1st Class (Diploma not preferred) Preferred- ME- Mechatronics/ Control Systems Certification Course – PLC, Robot and Safety 2 to 4 years of relevant experience Knowledge on below preferrable : Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell Studio 5000 ,VFD and Servo Experience, Cobot Programming, Robot Programming, Knowledge on Safety – Performance Level Show more Show less
