Automation Engineer Electroplating Plant

As an Automation Engineer at KIE, your role will involve supporting and optimizing the operations of our Automatic Electroplating Plant. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting PLC/SCADA-based automation systems to ensure seamless production processes and minimal downtime. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and modify PLC programs (especially Siemens PLC) for electroplating automation processes. - Develop and maintain SCADA systems for monitoring and controlling plant operations. - Perform electrical wiring and panel building for control systems and machinery. - Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and automation issues to reduce downtime. - Ensure the correct operation of control systems and integrate new equipment as needed. - Work with maintenance and production teams to optimize cycle times and improve plant efficiency. - Conduct preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems. - Maintain documentation related to PLC logic, SCADA screens, and electrical circuits. - Train and guide operators or technicians on the proper use of automated systems. - Maintain safety and compliance standards for electrical systems and controls. Required Skills and Qualifications: - Diploma or Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Automation Engineering. - Strong experience with Siemens PLCs (S7-300/400/1200/1500 series preferred). - Proficiency in PLC Programming, Ladder Logic, and Function Block Diagram. - Hands-on experience with SCADA systems (WinCC, Wonderware, or similar). - Deep knowledge of electrical wiring, panel design, and instrumentation. - Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills in electrical and automation systems. - Experience in industrial automation in surface finishing or plating processes is a plus.
