About the role

Autodesk (AutoCAD) Plant 3D Administrator handling the admin activity of the piping dept.

Responsibilities:

• Create Project database.
• Support integration with Autodesk Vault, BIM 360, ACC, Navisworks.
• Create/set up Piping & valve material specification
• Creating part catalogues, supports, library etc
• Setting up the templates for isometrics, extraction of 2D layout
• Must be able to resolve technical issues arising during the 3D modelling of a project
• Provide Plant 3D training to the new joiners
• Troubleshoot Plant 3D issues related to modeling, isometrics, orthos, and data manager.
• Able to create macros/programmes for extraction of BOMs, innovative solutions to avoid repetitive work.
• Able to do the modelling work as well.

Candidate requirements:

Candidate must possess Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with certified course in AutoCAD and 3D modelling software admin works.

• At least 8 to 10 years working experience with Autodesk Plant 3D administration.
• Must have thorough knowledge of 3D modelling
• Ability to work in teams with all levels and possess excellent interpersonal,communication/presentation.
• Should have proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of piping design, P&IDs, 3D modeling, and drafting practices.
• Experience in creating/modifying catalogs, specs, and isometric styles.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Familiarity with ISO drawing standards, ASME codes, and project execution workflows.
