Authorization Executive/ Sr Executive - Accounts Receivable

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Prior Authorization Specialist with expertise in procedure and prescription authorization, insurance portal navigation, and patient communication plays a vital role in healthcare administration.

Responsibilities

• Medical Procedure & Prescription Authorization: Securing necessary approvals for medical procedures and prescribed medications by preparing and submitting detailed authorization requests to insurance companies, ensuring patients receive timely treatments.

• Insurance Portal Navigation: Utilizing major insurance portals to verify patient eligibility, benefits, and coverage details, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of authorizations.

• Patient Communication: Serving as a liaison between patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies, providing clear and professional assistance regarding authorization requests and insurance coverage.

• Documentation and Compliance: Maintaining precise records of insurance verifications and authorizations, ensuring all procedures comply with HIPAA regulations.

Desired Candidate Profile :

• 1-5 years of experience in Prior Authorization, US Healthcare, RCM (Revenue Cycle Management), or similar roles.

• Strong understanding of authorization processes and regulations.

• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare providers and payers.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting productivity targets.

• Should be comfortable working from office and in Night shifts.
