About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team and support the delivery of accurate financial reporting, taxation compliance, and business advisory services. The role requires strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and ATO requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and lodge BAS/IAS, GST, PAYG and payroll tax with the ATO
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards
• Manage accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
• Prepare and review income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships (if public practice)
• Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
• Support budgeting, cashflow forecasting and variance analysis
• Work with accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks
• Liaise with external auditors, clients, and stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements

Skills & Experience

• 2–5+ years accounting experience in Australia (public practice or commercial)
• Strong understanding of GST, BAS, payroll, and ATO compliance
• Proficiency in Xero / MYOB / QuickBooks
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management abilities

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
