Job Summary: The Audit Manager is responsible for overseeing and executing internal and external audit processes, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, identifying risks, and improving internal controls. Key Responsibilities: Audit Planning & Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive audit plans and strategies. Conduct risk assessments to determine the scope of audits. Oversee financial, operational, and compliance audits. Team Leadership & Management: Lead and mentor a team of auditors, providing guidance and performance feedback. Allocate resources effectively to ensure timely and high-quality audit completion. Internal Controls & Risk Management: Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements. Identify potential risks and provide mitigation strategies. Ensure adherence to company policies and industry regulations. Reporting & Documentation: Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, recommendations, and action plans. Present audit results to senior management and stakeholders. Maintain accurate audit documentation and records. Compliance & Regulatory Requirements: Stay updated with industry regulations and best practices. Ensure audits comply with local and international auditing standards. Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and process enhancements. Provide recommendations to strengthen financial and operational controls.
