Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Prepare financial statements with accuracy and compliance with applicable standards.
Complete audit procedures that obtain sufficient appropriate audit evidence with a focus on quality and in accordance with applicable auditing standards.
Exercise and document the approach to professional skepticism including robust challenge, consideration of alternatives and disconfirming evidence
Identify and document audit misstatements and assess these individually and cumulatively against materiality
Demonstrating expertise in primary accounting framework (Ind-AS, IFRS), related financial reporting matters, Accounting and auditing standards.
Identify and document risks, issues and conclusions - consulting with appropriate team members as necessary.

Preferred candidate profile

Graduate or Postgraduate with exposure to Chartered Accountancy (pursuing or discontinued) and a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in accounting or auditing post-articleship.
In-depth knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), IFRS, Accounting and Auditing standards, guidelines and Policies.
Strong background and experience with audit methodologies and techniques.
Expertise in Financial Due Diligence, accounting, compliance, and financial analysis.
Experience in real estate industry is preferred.
Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
