Job Description

Responsibilities: 1. Solution Design and Implementation: o Architect end-to-end solutions using Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, JSM) based on customer requirements. o Lead the planning and execution of Atlassian cloud migration projects, ensuring a seamless transition from on-premises or server environments to the Atlassian Cloud. o Develop and customize solutions using Atlassian tools to optimize workflows, improve productivity, and enhance collaboration. 2. Customer Interaction and Requirement Gathering: o Engage with customers to gather and understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements and solutions. o Conduct workshops and solution presentations to explain Atlassian features, benefits, and best-fit approaches. o Provide technical support to clients, guiding them through complex challenges related to implementation, customization, and cloud migration. 3. Technical Leadership and Best Practices: o Provide technical guidance and leadership to developers during solution development, ensuring adherence to best practices. o Define, document, and promote Atlassian best practices and governance, ensuring solutions are scalable and maintainable. o Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, support, and product management, to drive solution quality and customer satisfaction. 4. Process Improvement and Automation: o Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation using Atlassian products. o Design and implement CI/CD processes, automation scripts, and integrations to enhance development and service efficiency. o Stay updated with the latest Atlassian capabilities and trends, providing proactive recommendations for solution optimization. Requirements: Experience: 12+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years of experience working extensively with Atlassian Products such as Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management. Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Technical Skills: o Strong experience in Atlassian cloud migration, Solution architecture, and development. o Proficiency in Atlassian customization, add-ons, scripting, and automation using tools such as ScriptRunner, REST APIs, and automation rules. o Familiarity with AWS/ Devops concepts, Marketplace plug-ins, CI/CD, ITSM, and Agile development practices. Certifications (Preferred): o Atlassian Certified Professional (ACP). o ITIL certification is a plus.
