Conduct initial and periodic assessments for children with special needs. Identify learning challenges and developmental delays in areas such as cognition, communication, fine motor, social skills, and academics. Maintain detailed records of progress, IEPs, and session notes. Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each child's needs. Provide one-on-one and group intervention sessions for children with autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, global developmental delay, etc. Use evidence-based teaching methods, sensory-based techniques, and play-based learning. Coordinate with pediatric therapists (OT, PT, Speech, Behavioral, Psychology) for integrated therapy plans. Participate in case discussions, reviews, and multidisciplinary team meetings. Support cross-referrals and provide feedback to the team for holistic care. Provide parents with guidance, home programs, and progress updates. Conduct parent-training sessions to reinforce learning at home. Maintain an organized, child-friendly learning environment. Use teaching aids, visual schedules, sensory tools, and adaptive materials appropriately.
