Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Prepare Standalone Financial Statements (monthly, quarterly, and annually) in accordance with Ind AS and applicable laws within defined timelines.
Perform variance analysis and prepare General Ledger (GL) schedules for key Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss accounts as part of periodic closure.
Prepare monthly cash flow statements and other standalone financial reports for management review.
Prepare board decks / management presentations highlighting key financial insights and trends.
Coordinate and manage statutory audits, ensuring timely completion and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders including auditors, finance teams, and regulatory bodies.
Ensure adherence to internal controls, company policies, and accounting standards.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting

Preferred candidate profile

Qualified Chartered Accountant
(CA) with 5 to 7 years of post-qualification experience in financial reporting and accounting.
Experience in a listed company and familiarity with
Ind AS
is preferred, Companies Act,
SEBI regulations
, and financial statement preparation.
Experience working in medium to large organizations preferred

Skills

Technical knowledge of Ind AS, financial reporting standards, and regulatory compliance.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate across teams and levels.
Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and financial reporting systems / ERP tools.
Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and deliver within tight deadlines.
