Please see the following position summary: Client Name: Subsidiary of the American MNC Position: Sr. Executive / Asst. Manager - Financial Reporting Department: Finance & Accounts Location: Padra, Gujarat Job Profile: Leading financial reporting projects, such as implementation of changes in accounting standards. Preparing Monthly / Quarterly / Annual financial statements. Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliation / schedules and recommending actions based on the same. Monthly data submissions to joint venture partners, as per requirements. Provide support for internal and external audits, including control walkthroughs, documentation, support, and inquiry responses. Understanding of Inter-company transactions between affiliates and ensuring all the Intercompany transactions are reconciled. Work with tax teams on annual tax filings, advance tax, tax assessments and tax audits for support from a financial reporting standpoint. Knowledge of Companies Act, 2013 would be an additional advantage. Desired Profile: Qualified Chartered Accountants with 2-3 years of work experience in financial reporting. Demonstrated understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Ind AS (IFRS), US GAAP. In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and best practices. Good working knowledge on month end closing process. Knowledge of Companies Act, 2013 would be an additional advantage. Computer literacy skills, especially with MS Office. Analytical skills with a keen sense of organization and detail oriented. Proven time management skills and ability to work under strict deadlines. Respect for confidentiality of information laws and local ethics. A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements. Strong Communication & Coaching Skills, Presentation Skills Leadership & Stakeholder Management Adaptability & Creativity in Learning Solutions Analytical Thinking & Problem-Solving Conflict Resolution & Employee Counselling Change Management & Process Improvement Strategic Thinking & Decision-Making Good Computer Savvy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, Google Chrome).
