Job Description

Job Title: Asst. Manager/Deputy Manager/Manager – Tea Sales

Experience: 5-10 Years

Location: Maheshtala, Kolkata, West Bengal

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to drive our export sales operations in the tea industry.

Key Responsibilities:

· Identify, target, and acquire new export clients in international markets.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with key international customers, distributors, and agents. Act as the primary point of contact for export inquiries and ensure customer satisfaction.

· Handle the preparation of all export-related documentation (e.g., invoices, shipping documents, customs clearance) in compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.

· Lead negotiations with international clients on pricing, terms of sale, shipment schedules, and payment terms. Ensure profitable and competitive pricing for all export orders.

· Stay informed about international market trends, consumer preferences, and competitors. Use this information to adjust sales strategies and product offerings to meet market demands.

· Oversee the processing of export orders, from receipt to shipment. Collaborate with logistics, production, and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of orders.

· Maintain accurate records of all export sales activities, monitor progress against targets, and provide regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management.

· Represent the company at international trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to increase brand visibility and attract potential buyers.

· Develop and execute specific export plans to meet the company's annual sales targets. Focus on increasing export revenue through new client acquisition and repeat business.

· Ensure that customers receive thorough knowledge about the company’s tea products, quality, and unique selling points. Provide post-sale support and assist in resolving any issues.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

· Bachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, Marketing, or a related field. A degree in agriculture, food science, or a similar domain related to tea is an advantage.

· 5-10 years of experience in export sales, with a proven track record in the tea / FMCG / Food & Beverage sectors.

· Strong understanding of export processes, international trade regulations, and customs procedures.

· Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.

· Fluency in English is a must. Knowledge of other languages (e.g., French, Spanish, Arabic) will be an added advantage.

· Willingness to travel internationally for business meetings, trade shows, and client visits.
