Job Details

As an Associate Test Engineer, you’ll be encouraged to challenge what others may call “impossible” and deliver solutions that are elegant, effective and easy to understand. You’ll join an industry-leading team focused on mobile device erasure and diagnostics.

Please note: To be considered for this role, you must already be living in Pune and be fully eligible to work in India. Blancco does not offer relocation bonuses for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute various levels of testing: System, Integration and Regression
• Analyse user stories, use cases, and requirements for feasibility and clarity
• Develop and execute test cases for cloud solutions based on requirements
• Contribute to Test Plans and overall testing strategy
• Manage and report defects effectively
• Perform testing on Linux variants
• Review and analyse test results to ensure high-quality delivery
• Collaborate with both local and remote colleagues
• Configure required hardware and test environments for AWS Cloud servers

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience with cloud systems such as AWS, micro-services and load balancers; AWS certification is a plus
• Experience: 1–3 years
• Strong understanding of web application testing, REST APIs and API testing
• Exposure to mobile application testing
• Clear understanding of QA concepts, processes and methodologies
• Familiarity with defect management and lifecycle
• Experience working with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence, Git, Jenkins, TestMo
• Solid hands-on experience with various operating systems, especially Linux
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and within a team
• (Bonus) Ability to develop and maintain automation scripts
