What Youll Do The Associate Tax Analyst position would involve understanding and validating multiple kinds of US-based corporate tax documents / Exemption certificates. You will verify and process customer sales tax exemption documentation. You will report to the Tax Manager. You are comfortable working in a 24/7 shift set-up. What Your Responsibilities Will Be Obtain, review sales tax exemption documentation from external customers. Manage a portfolio of 90+ customers as they handed over to the Managed Services team from Go-live and Implementation. Respond to email queries from clients regarding updates to existing accounts with the support of SMEs/leaders. Communicate with all customers through email and calls, who have not yet submitted the Sales Tax Exemption Certificates in Avalara Tool. Customer Service - Respond promptly to customer queries on a call with the support of SME/leaders. Verify the form meets the governmental and customer audit requirements following the industry requirements and the law of the land. Flexible to extend working hours, working on weekends and holidays as may complete the exemption processing requirements. What Youll Need to be Successful 2 years of work experience in an MNC Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and familiarity with data transformation techniques and processes Experience in the US Sales Tax domain.
