Associate Staff Engineer, ETL Testing

With over 18000 experts spread across 38 countries, we are dedicated to building products, services, and experiences that inspire, excite, and delight users across all digital mediums. **REQUIREMENTS:** - Possess a total of 5+ years of experience in the field. - Strong proficiency in ETL Testing, data migration, and data validation processes. - Demonstrated expertise in complex SQL queries and data validation techniques. - Working knowledge of AWS cloud services, specifically in data handling. - Experience with data orchestration platforms like Apache Airflow, Databricks, or similar tools. - Track record of managing data readiness for large-scale implementations across diverse geographies. - Familiarity with data warehousing and data lake architectures. - Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Python for ETL testing. - Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with developers for resolution. - Excellent grasp of data quality, cleansing strategies, and load validation techniques. - Experience in structured project frameworks including SIT/UAT, mock loads, and cutover plans. - Strong communication and coordination skills to collaborate with cross-functional and globally distributed teams. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** - Understand the functional and non-functional requirements of projects and the business context of the application being developed. - Interact with clients to determine testing scope, expectations, acceptance criteria, and availability of test data and environment. - Collaborate closely with product owners to define and refine acceptance criteria. - Prepare test plan/strategy and estimate test effort, prepare schedules, assign tasks, and identify constraints and dependencies. - Manage risks by identifying, mitigating, and resolving business and technical risks. - Design and develop automated testing frameworks following project design and coding guidelines. - Establish best practices for test automation and prepare test reports summarizing testing outcomes. - Communicate quality metrics effectively, highlight problem areas, and propose solutions. - Participate in retrospective meetings, identify root causes of quality-related issues, and suggest continuous improvements. - Conduct application demos for internal and external stakeholders. - Review all testing artifacts, ensure defects are tracked to closure, triage and prioritize defects for resolution, and provide constructive feedback to team members. **QUALIFICATIONS:** - Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.,
