Role: As an Associate Software Engineer at Avasant, you will be responsible for the development of solutions and platforms for Avasant. The key roles and responsibilities for this position would include the following: Be able to write effective and scalable codes to develop a project through its entire lifecycle Build, maintain and deploy state-of-the-art web applications using a variety of languages and tools Quickly learn new technologies and adapt to a fast-paced development environment Support the team in writing documentation and building tools to enhance productivity Solve problems, and drive automation and analysis leveraging complex data sets Implement security and data protection solutions Work closely with and incorporate feedback from product, designers, and other key stakeholders within the company Attention to detail, strong sense of ownership, and pride in the quality of one's work Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment across multiple time zones/ geographies Qualifications : Bachelor of Science degree in IT/Computer Science/Programming/Web Development or Bachelor of Technology/Engineering Excellent problem-solving, and analytical skills 1-2 years of work experience with specialization in programming language: Python Basic knowledge of at least one popular Python framework (like Django, Flask or Fast API) Basic skills in: JavaScript, Ajax, jQuery, Bootstrap, CSS, CSS3, and HTML5, XML, REST API, Web Services Basic knowledge of how to code user interaction in JavaScript (knowledge of how to manipulate the DOM, handle events, etc.) Knowledge of using Gen-AI based coding tools like Github Copilot, Cursor, Windsurf or others Good to have skills: Knowledge of NoSQL and Data Modelling, will be considered an asset Some level of comfort using Git What Avasant offers: Entrepreneurial environment, with the ability to lead and drive new initiatives to further personal and organizational goals Global exposure and a chance to work with multinational clients, including some of the industry leaders Training and mentoring on the latest business and sector practices based on market requirements Opportunity to work with and learn from an international team of industry specialists Dynamic and multicultural work environment Powered by JazzHR RlOYy9rCu9 Show more Show less
