Associate Professor - Karaikudi

Job Location- Alagappapuram, Karaikudi

We are hiring Associate Professors across various medical specialties to support academic, research, and limited clinical responsibilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong subject expertise, teaching capability, and the ability to guide students while contributing to departmental growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct lectures, tutorials, and practical/clinical sessions for UG and PG students.
  
• Assist in curriculum development, academic planning, and examination duties.
  
• Provide clinical services, OPD/IPD support, and ward responsibilities as applicable.
  
• Guide student research, case presentations, seminars, and journal clubs.
  
• Contribute to departmental research activities and academic publications.
  
• Ensure proper documentation, student evaluations, and academic reporting.
  
• Participate in academic committees, departmental meetings, and quality initiatives.
  
• Support senior faculty members in academic and administrative tasks.
  
• Comply with NMC norms, institutional policies, and academic standards.
  

Required Candidate Profile

• MD/MS/DNB in the relevant specialty from a recognised university.
  

• 1-4 years of teaching/clinical experience

  as per NMC norms.
• Strong command over subject concepts and clinical skills (department-specific).
  
• Good communication, teaching, and student-handling abilities.
  
• Research-oriented mindset and willingness to engage in academic growth.
