Associate Professor- Forensic Sciences

Key Responsibilities:

1. Teach forensic science courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels, including crime scene investigation, forensic chemistry, forensic biology, and forensic analysis.

2. Develop and deliver course materials, including syllabi, lectures, assignments, and exams.

3. Conduct research in forensic science, including the analysis of evidence, the development of new forensic techniques, and the application of forensic science to real-world problems.

4. Publish scholarly articles and books in reputable academic journals and presses.

5. Advise and mentor students, including supervising student research projects and theses.

6. Participate in departmental and university service, including committee work and community outreach.

7. Stay current with developments in forensic science and incorporate relevant topics into teaching and research.

Requirements:

- Ph.D. in Forensic Science with 8 years of Teaching experience

- Strong teaching and research background

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work with students of varying backgrounds and skill levels

- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion

- Strong organizational and time management skills
