1. Position Summary

The Associate Professor in CSE will teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses, supervise research, contribute to curriculum development, publish scholarly work, and assist in academic administration. The role requires strong academic credentials, research capabilities, and leadership in departmental activities.

2. Eligibility & Qualifications

• Minimum experience as per

  UGC/AICTE norms

  (typically 8+ years of teaching/research experience, with at least 3 years as Assistant Professor).
• Strong research record with publications in

  SCI/Scopus-indexed journals

• Demonstrated contribution in teaching, research, industry collaboration, and academic development.
  

3. Key Responsibilities

A. Teaching & Learning

• Teach UG/PG courses in CSE (theory & labs) with excellence.
  
• Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and lab manuals.
  
• Conduct examinations, assessments, continuous evaluation, and result analysis.
  
• Provide academic mentoring and career guidance to students.
  

B. Research & Publications

• Conduct quality research in emerging and core areas of CSE.
  
• Publish papers in reputed journals and conferences.
  
• Pursue funded research projects from government/industry bodies.
  
• Guide B.Tech/M.Tech students in research projects and dissertations.
  

C. Academic Development & Departmental Contribution

• Participate in curriculum design, revision, and outcome-based education (OBE) processes.
  
• Support accreditation activities (NBA/NAAC).
  
• Engage in developing new laboratories, research centers, and academic initiatives.
  
• Collaborate with industry for internships, projects, and skill development programs.
  

D. Administrative & Institutional Duties

• Serve on departmental/university committees (examination, discipline, academic planning, etc.).
  
• Organize workshops, seminars, FDPs, hackathons, and student-focused events.
  
• Support admissions activities, academic audits, and documentation tasks.
  
• Uphold institutional values, discipline, and code of conduct.
