Job Description

FOR THE POST OF ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR Essential: A Ph. D. Degree with minimum 55% marks in Bachelor s and Master s Degree in discipline of Law. A Minimum of 8 years of experience in teaching at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent grade, with requisite qualification of National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or SLET /SET accredited by UGC. Excluding, period spent on obtaining the research leading to Ph. D degree/academic administration in a University or/and in any of its affiliated College or/and Research Institute or research Centre, wholly or in parts. AND Minimum 7 SCI Publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals AND Minimum Research Score of 75 FOR THE POST OF ASSISTANT PROFESSOR 1) Essential: a) Master s Degree in a related discipline with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade or Cumulative Grade Point Average in a defined scale, with good academic record. The candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or SLET/SET accredited by UGC. OR ii. Without prejudice to the above, the following conditions may be considered desirable : a) Ph. D. preferred with 2 years of experience. b) The candidate has presented at least two papers based on his/her Ph. D. work in conferences/seminars sponsored/funded/supported by the UGC/ICSSR/CSIR or any similar agency. c) Published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work in the peer-reviewed or UGC listed Journals. Published work may include books, Research Periodical, Ph. D. guidance, Consultancy projects, and patent filed. Pay Scales: As per UGC guidelines; but will not be a constraint for the right candidate.
