Job Description

With an installed base of over 52 Enterprise customers, Avekshaa is now looking to inducta Technology Practice Leader, who will enable delivery scalability. He / She should lead and ensuresuccessful delivery of some of the most complex projects in the world. Should be a hands-on performancearchitect who enjoys solving deep technical issues. A passionate entrepreneur / intrapreneur who will partner with us in building a High-end Technologycompany from India, which aims to be a Global leader in the P-A-S-STM (performance, availability,scalability, and security) Assurance space.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Lead and successfully deliver new / complex projects (either directly or along with team with a
self-billing target of 50%)
– Stakeholders &amp Expectations management– Develops insights from internal and external sources and takes risks to implementleading edge solutions– Ensure successful account entry and downstream business with new customers– Create downstream business opportunities in each account
  • Lead and Scale a Technology Practice.
– Responsible for P&ampL
– Build and deliver solutions– Responsible for projects delivery– Build capability
  • Client Relationship Management (both pre-sales &amp post-sales)
– Be client CIO’s trusted advisor
  • Client delight
– Ensure client delight
– Ensure referenceable clients– Through use of IPs, automation and use of right skills mix improve project and accountprofitability
  • Grow the business
– Pre-sales / post-sales (play an active role in winning business)
– Client CIO advisory– Business influenced through Branding (Thought leadership)
  • Manage and deliver superior value in Key Accounts
– Deliver superior value
– Be CIO’s trusted advisor– Grow business in each account by minimum 30% on year on year basis– Improve account profitability on year on year basis– Go to person for technical or for managing risk in all projects
  • Innovation and Thought leadership
– Create an organization that imagines and implements unique, breakthrough ideas
– Foresees customer and industry needs and responds with exceptional solutions– Identify new ideas and approaches that others may have missed– Produce relevant workable solutions to business problems.– Present paper and run blogs (directly and through team)– Build company brand through thought leadership– Automate work delivery and Build IPs
  • Coaching &amp Mentoring
– Provides team a clear direction. Should be hands on, in the space of Performance
Engineering.– Takes ownership for building capability in the organization by effective coaching andmentoring to move others to a higher level of working.– Improve architecture skills across all team members– Ensure team members are happy through continuous engagement– Help in career progression of the team
  • Enable teams to deliver better value in projects
– Conduct project reviews Key Technical Skills: Deep experience on Performance Engineering with understanding ofJava/J2EE technologies.  Experienced in defining and realizing end-to-end Technical Architecture for large scale real- timeenterprise systems. Ability to identify and define non-functional requirements and design systemsto meet the same.  Ability to review existing Architectures and identify Risks, Trade-offs, and sharerecommendations for addressing the identified issues.  Demonstrate strong understanding of cloud architecture considerations when scaling and tuningapplication deployments. Must have hands on experience working on any of the Clouddeployments on AWS or Azure.  Good experience on leveraging APM tools to provide deep dive analysis on performanceproblems. Deep understanding of the dashboards which can be built for CIO level interactions.Must have relevant experience on APM tools like Dynatrace or AppDynamics.  Experience in performance optimization of J2EE systems on any of different types of applicationservers - WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss etc. Deep expertise in any one of the application serversis a must.  Experience in creating and reviewing technical documents like Architecture blueprint, Designspecifications, Deployment architecture. Testing tools - Apache JMeter /Gatling/ HP Load Runner for Load testing. Must be in a positionto review Performance Testing programs and steer directionstowards right Workload Model, appropriate Test and Monitoring Strategy, build performancemodels and derive at right Capacity Planning.  Experience in Big Data Analytics like - Apache Kafka, Apache Storm, Apache Hadoop, ApacheSpark.  Good skills in RDBMS like: Oracle, MS-SQL, MySQL, Cassandra, and Mongo DB  Exposure to Agile methodologies &amp Continuous Integration Tools  Entrepreneur / Intrapreneur (someone who has built technology teams ground-up, built newsolutions from scratch)digital era.  Excellent Pre-sales experience and have played a key role in winning business along with thesales team.
