Job Description

Role Overview: As a member of the Trust & Safety team at Google, your role will involve addressing significant challenges that impact the safety and integrity of Google products. You will leverage technical expertise, problem-solving skills, user insights, and proactive communication to safeguard users and partners from abuse across various Google products like Search, Maps, Gmail, and Google Ads. Your responsibilities will require you to be a strategic thinker with a global perspective, collaborating with Google engineers and product managers to combat abuse and fraud cases swiftly and effectively. Your dedication to upholding trust in Google and ensuring the highest levels of user safety will be crucial in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Conceptualize and oversee impactful projects in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders such as Engineering, Product, Legal, Policy, Sales, and other Trust and Safety teams. - Conduct investigative fraud and abuse analysis to generate actionable insights and recommendations. - Identify opportunities for new signals, automation, workflow enhancements, and operational efficiency gains. - Drive solutions to completion by focusing on operational efficiency and effectiveness. - Participate in the regular on-call coverage rotation to address sensitive issues and escalations. - Mentor and provide guidance to team members to foster growth and development within the team. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience along with 7 years of experience in data analytics, trust and safety, policy, cybersecurity, or related fields. - Experience in roles related to business analysis, statistical analysis, or Machine Learning is preferred. - Proficiency in SQL, building dashboards, data collection/transformation, visualization/dashboards, or a scripting/programming language such as Python is desired. - Experience in process/project management and the ability to navigate and influence cross-team stakeholders. - Excellent problem-solving abilities to process high amounts of data and drive business strategies and decisions effectively.,
