Key Skills:

Roles and Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain applications using Perl modules and code that meet performance and efficiency requirements.
Evaluate client needs and analyze requirements to develop software systems.
Incorporate best practices including performance, security, scalability, and maintainability.
Contribute to team efforts by completing projects on time with minimal defects.
Protect operations by maintaining confidentiality and adhering to company security policies.
Take ownership of processes/applications post-development, including daily monitoring for ongoing success.
Keep project management systems updated with current status and notes.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge through workshops and professional societies.
Review and provide feedback on functional and technical requirements.
Define and propose solutions to meet project requirements.
Contribute to improvements in the SDLC using practices such as test-driven development (TDD), static code analysis, code reviews, continuous integration, continuous delivery, and automated security scanning.
