Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role of a Junior Associate for a Law graduate, located in Chennai. The Associate is expected to provide legal support and conduct research on case laws, statutory provisions, and legal precedents. Additional responsibilities include assisting in drafting and reviewing notices, agreements, pleadings, and legal documents. The role also involves representing clients during court hearings. Meeting strict deadlines and preparing detailed reports are integral aspects of this position.

Qualifications

Strong research and analytical skills to interpret legal statutes, case laws, and regulatory frameworks
Proficiency in drafting and reviewing contracts, pleadings, notices, and written submissions
Effective written and oral communication skills to interact with clients and represent cases in court
Attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Proven knowledge of legal practices, courtroom procedures, and proficiency in legal research tools
Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B or equivalent) and enrollment with the relevant Bar Council
Prior work experience in a legal environment or law firm is a plus
A commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and professional integrity
