Job Description

Site Reliability Engineer Description: UST is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join a leading financial services organization. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in DevOps within a cloud (AWS) environment , excellent leadership skills, and strong written and verbal communication abilities. Responsibilities: Continuously refine AWS deployment practices for improved reliability, repeatability, and security . Develop automation scripts for AWS services using AWS CLI / API, Terraform, Chef . Configure CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployments using Jenkins, AWS CodeDeploy . Document and diagram deployment architectures, collaborating with Software Engineers and DevOps teams . Troubleshoot production issues using log analysis and debugging techniques . Promote a DevOps culture , fostering collaboration between technical and business teams. Requirements: 5+ years of experience in DevOps , AWS Administration, and Automation . Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and AWS EKS . Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation. Familiarity with Java, Spring, Spring Boot applications . Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Chef . Experience with Jenkins, Jenkins Pipeline for build and deployment automation. Strong AWS administration knowledge: EC2, Elastic Beanstalk, Lambda, RDS, S3, IAM, ECS, CloudWatch . Experience with Docker Containers on ECS or Kubernetes . SQL experience with RDS-PostgreSQL or other DBMS . Knowledge of log aggregation tools such as ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) . Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language . Preferred: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer , Agile team experience.
