As an Associate Analyst/Analyst in the Risk Management Services (RMS) team at EY, your role involves executing globally defined processes in alignment with EY Global (EYG) Independence policies. You will assist EY country practices worldwide in making decisions regarding new client acceptances and continuances to ensure EY's independence as an auditor. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop a working knowledge of firm-level Independence concepts and execute work procedures as per EYG Independence policies. - Research, analyze, and update various EY tools and databases to mitigate independence-related risks for client-serving/audit teams. - Review submissions from client-serving teams for completeness and accuracy, perform reconciliation, and communicate with project managers and team members for follow-ups. - Build understanding of client company structures, internal tools, conduct research, and draft recommendations for review. - Actively participate in knowledge calibration sessions, ask relevant questions, and strive to meet and exceed defined individual KPIs. **Skills and attributes for success:** - Display responsiveness in communication. - Work with an inclusive and client-centric mindset. - Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and uphold the highest standards of ethics and integrity. - Willingness to adapt to new digital tools for enhanced efficiency. **To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have:** - Graduate/Masters/Post-graduate degree (preferably in Finance domain) from a reputed institution. - 0-1 year of experience in research and analysis in a professional services firm. - Well-developed analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills in English. - Basic understanding of company structures, ownership structures, auditor Independence, and risk management concepts. **Technologies and Tools:** - Intermediate level of knowledge in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, etc.).
