Driving Sales Strategy: Assist the State Head in development of Journey Cycle Plan and overall Sales Strategy for the State in order to achieve overall organizational sales targets Translate the overall sales strategy / targets assigned to the Zone and share with the Sales Managers/ Officers Establish, measure timelines and mechanisms to regularly review the performance of team against the set targets and provide guidance and support to the team for identified issues Formulate the Journey Cycle Plan for own zone in close coordination with the Technical Services team and drives adherence to the same Perform periodic demand forecasting across districts; participate in sales and operations planning discussions and manage timely demand planning activities Track competitor activities and provide data on competitor performance and market research for identifying new sales opportunities Sales Operations: Lead the Sales Managers and Sales Officers, assign their annual/ monthly/ weekly targets, guide them in activity planning; Ensure the same is recorded for analysis Ensure adherence to defined standard operating procedures to sell products and record sales Interact with internal department heads to understand different products, price and condition to finalize list of products for sales Ensure the availability of stock for sales and demonstrations Communicate pricing strategies and schemes etc. to the sales team and ensure quick implementation Coordinate with Technical services team to implement the required influencer marketing activities Coordinate with logistics to ensure timely delivery of product in the assigned territory Ascertain need for marketing initiatives & collaborate with marketing to implement the same Drive execution to the credit policy and ensure adherence to standard credit limits Dealer and Business Partner Network management: Manage ad expand dealer and BP network to maximize market penetration and sales volumes Drive smooth and effective rollout of trade discounts, promotions and schemes in line with functional objectives Encourage dealers and BPs to avail cash discount Ensure strong relationships with dealers/sub-dealers/other influencers through CRM activities People Management: Drive a performance driven culture Set goals, review performance and provide feedback so as to ensure a motivated and committed team
