Associate - Financial Analyst (Data Analyst)

As a Financial Data Analyst/BI Specialist at Myntra, you will play a crucial role in driving financial reporting and process efficiency. Your expertise in data manipulation using SQL and Python/Pandas, proficiency in BI tools like QlikView, and strong understanding of financial reporting principles will be key to delivering accurate, timely, and insightful reports, as well as automating essential data processes. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Reporting & Dashboard Delivery** - Design and deliver high-impact financial dashboards and reports using QlikView to meet business requirements - Provide recommendations and analytical insights to the finance team and stakeholders based on reporting data - Manage the full lifecycle of reporting, including gathering requirements, development, testing, and deployment - Lead the implementation of functionality changes and enhancements to existing reports and dashboards - **Data Management & Validation** - Utilize Advanced SQL to query, extract, and transform large, complex financial datasets from source systems - Employ Python and Pandas for advanced data manipulation, aggregation, reconciliation, and complex financial calculations - Rigorously validate the accuracy and integrity of new and modified reports against source data and financial standards - Ensure all reports comply with financial reporting understanding and established accounting principles - **Process Improvement & Automation** - Identify opportunities for efficiency and execute initiatives for process automation across the financial reporting workflow - Develop and maintain scripts (primarily using Python) to automate routine data extraction, transformation, and validation tasks **Required Skills:** 1. **Data & Programming** - Advanced SQL (writing complex queries, stored procedures, performance tuning) - Expertise in Python with the Pandas library for data analysis and manipulation 2. **Business Intelligence** - Strong proficiency and hands-on experience with QlikView (dashboard design, scripting, maintenance) 3. **Domain Knowledge** - Good understanding of Financial Reporting 4. **Soft Skills** - Quick in grasping the requirements and translating them into technical specifications and actionable insights **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field - Prior experience in a financial services or corporate finance environment Join Myntra on its journey of evolution and innovation in the fashion landscape of India.
