Associate Electrical Engineer

As an Associate Electrical Engineer at GEA, you will play a crucial role in ensuring electrical compliance with customer specifications and meeting project deadlines. Your responsibilities will include: - Electrical Design Validation - Ensuring compliance with customer specifications - Meeting project deadlines - Handling various documentation related to electrical and instrumentations - Coordinating with the Electrical Team and providing support - Coordinating with internal customers to fulfill their requirements To excel in this role, you should have the following qualifications: - Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation & Controls or a similar field - 3-7 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer in industries such as Dairy, Food, Beverages, Brewery, Pharma, or Chemical - Proficiency in Electrical Engineering principles - In-depth knowledge of Eplan P8 Software, PLC hardware, machinery standards, switchgear assembly standards, and various industry-specific regulations - Strong interpersonal communication skills for effective coordination with project teams - Familiarity with cables/busbar calculation, component selection for hazardous areas, heat-loss calculation, and relevant industry standards - Experience in electrical loop drawings, panel design, control system design, wiring schematics, cable calculations, and loop drawing generation In addition, you should be proficient in English and preferably have knowledge of Hindi. Limited travel may be required for on-site support and panel FAT activities within India and abroad. Basic computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office products, is essential for this role, with familiarity in MS Project considered a plus.
