Job Description

As an Associate Director, Finance focusing on Technical Accounting and US GAAP, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the company's accounting functions to ensure alignment with US GAAP standards. Your responsibilities will include managing complex accounting issues, ensuring compliance with financial reporting requirements, and providing strategic guidance on accounting matters to senior leadership. Additionally, you will be instrumental in improving and maintaining the company's financial reporting, ensuring accurate and timely submissions to stakeholders, and driving enhancements in accounting processes and systems. Key Responsibilities: - Manage accounting and finance operations of global entities, including preparation and finalization of financial statements as per US GAAP and public accounting standards. - Lead month-end closure activities to ensure accuracy and completeness of balance sheet schedules. - Oversee the technical accounting function, draft memos, and implement new standards. - Support integrated audit activities, including planning meetings, interim testing, quarter-end tasks, managing audit requests, and driving cost-saving efficiencies. - Coordinate annual audits for US and foreign entities with a big audit firm, ensuring timely submission of accounts, resolving issues proactively, and achieving clean audit finalization. - Improve financial systems and processes for efficient functioning and distribution of financial information. - Assist with external reporting, required disclosures, and SOX audit compliance. - Enhance the financial reporting process within the organization. Qualifications: - CA or CPA equivalent with 6-8 years of experience, preferably in the software or hi-tech industry. - Experience in a public company or big 4 audit firms. - NetSuite experience is a plus. - Proficiency in designing and implementing accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. - Strong attention to detail, exceptional judgment, time management skills, and integrity. - Thorough knowledge of US GAAP and software revenue accounting experience. - Self-driven team player with excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
