Learn more about our Financial Advisory Practice Your work profile As an Associate Director in our Restructuring Services / Corporate Finance Team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and managing client transactions from inception to completion. The candidate should have a strong background in financial analysis, preparing pitches & collaterals, diligence management, and client & stakeholder management, with a strong desire to build and grow the Aerospace & Defence practice. You’ll support the team with: Origination Support: Collaborate with cross functional teams in ideation and origination of transactions and engagements. Conduct industry research and financial analysis to identify potential transaction and engagement opportunities. Preparation of pitches and proposals to secure new business and build a strong pipeline. Transaction & Engagement Management: Lead the end-to-end Transaction / Engagement execution covering Strategy, M&A, Private Equity, Structured Finance transactions, organization restructuring and operations monitoring advisory. Oversee transaction processes and deliverables including marketing, diligence, structuring, negotiation, & closing. Prepare marketing materials including teasers, information memorandums and other presentations. Build detailed financial models and perform transaction and valuation analyses. Conduct in-depth research on potential buyers or investors (and targets on buy-side transactions). Client Management: Serve as the primary point of contact, managing relationships & ensuring high-quality service. Work closely with clients to understand their needs, offer strategic solutions, and deliver on client objectives. Maintain client engagement throughout the transaction lifecycle, proactively assessing and addressing concerns and managing expectations. Clearly and confidently articulate ideas in both written and verbal communications. Team Collaboration: Lead and work with diverse teams to ensure high-quality deliverables and contribute to the team’s overall development. Foster a positive work environment to promote high performance and teamwork. Actively support colleagues beyond individual responsibilities, promoting a strong team dynamic. Industry Leadership: Stay informed on trends, regulations, and market dynamics impacting the sector of expertise. Develop thought leadership and build a reputation as a subject-matter expert in the chosen sector. Desired qualifications Education: CA / MBA in Finance / CFA preferred, with a strong academic background. Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years in corporate finance and strategy with demonstrated experience in managing end-to-end transactions [experience in Aerospace & Defence, Industrials and Manufacturing sector will be preferred] Strong report writing and reviewing skills, with an appropriate focus on attention to detail, conciseness and risk management. Strong commercial acumen and market awareness Good understanding of transaction documents Ability to multitask on multiple engagements. Fluency in written & verbal English Strong work ethic and positive attitude Location and way of working Base location: Mumbai This profile involves occasional travelling to client location.
